Will Kerala theater shutdown affect the release of Master and Soorarai Pottru?

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak in Kerala, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had requested to shut down all movie theaters be shut down in the state till March 31 and the film fraternity immediately obliged.

Now, the highly-anticipated Mohanlal film Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham is most likely to be postponed, giving the battle against Corona in the state. With Vijay’s Master and Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru set for release in April, the makers are now reportedly mulling over the dates since Kerala contributes a huge revenue share for both the heroes. Kollywood could also witness a change in release pipeline due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
