Amitash, who played the villain role in Dhanush’s Velai Illa Pattathari and rose to fame, has landed the lead role opportunity in a Hollywood film titled Heartbeats after he sent his dance clip to Nalini Ratnam, casting director of the project. The film will be directed by Duane Adler, best known for dance-driven flicks such as Save The Last Dance and Step Up.

Amitash will be working closely with choreographers Tessandra Chavez, Emmy Winner for Outstanding Choreography 2015 and Shampa Gopikrishna, who co-choreographed the popular song Pinga in Bajirao Mastani along with Remo D’Souza.
