Actor Sree, who plays one of the lead roles in Vil Ambu, says the film has a high-concept script. “I play Karthi, a youngster from the slums, who does petty jobs to survive. Scripts like these don’t often come my way. I just listened to a minute-long synopsis of the story before deciding to do the role,” says Sree who delivered a terrific performance in Balaji Sakthivel’s Vazhakku En 18/9.
Directed by Ramesh Subramaniam and produced by Suseenthiran, Vil Ambu also has Harish Kalyan and Samskruthy Shenoy in important roles. “The film is about two people from the same city, who despite being unknown to each other, are connected through their actions. The screenplay will really draw you into this movie,” says the director.
