The audio launch of Kaththi went smoothly yesterday in The Leela Palace, Chennai. It was swiftly organized and executed perfectly. It was attended by the entire cast and crew of the film with Vijay’s well-wishers in the industry including actors Sibiraj, Shantano Bhagyaraj, Arya, directors Dharani, Vikraman, Chimbudevan – who will direct Vijay in his next film, producers Kalaipuli S Dhanu, RB Chaudhury and Vijay’s parents SA Chandrasekhar and Shoba and his spouse Sangeetha. The event was hosted by Ma Ka Anand and Priyanka of Vijay TV fame.
Vijay speech at Kaththi Audio Launch was the major highlight in the event. He delivered a short yet a matured speech again, “I may not be a martyr. But, I swear that am not a traitor too. A lot of people are asking me about my silence regarding the controversies. If we give clarifications to truth, then it makes sense. If we start clarifing rumors, then it will become truth. This is Tamil Nadu. I’m a Tamilan. We did not make Kaththi for people to fight each other. We made it for people to enjoy it in theaters,” said Vijay. He also confirmed that the film will release on Diwali.
