The shoot of the Vijay Sethupathi – Puri Jagannadh movie has officially been wrapped, marking the end of an intense, emotional, and joy-filled journey for the entire team. This project, still awaiting its title, marks the first-ever collaboration between the actor and the star filmmaker, and is shaping up to be a full-fledged pan-India entertainer.
Speaking about the experience during the filming stages, Vijay Sethupathi shared his admiration for Puri Jagannadh’s working style, praising his timing, dialogue writing, and overall execution. With the wrap announcement, the makers released a short promo from the sets, featuring Sethupathi expressing his fondness for the director by saying he would miss him and that he loves him: a moment that delighted fans and hinted at the strong bond built during the shoot.
Samyuktha Menon plays the female lead, while Tabu joins the cast in a major role, adding further weight to the film. Kannada actor Duniya Vijay also appears in a crucial part. The project is presented by Charmme Kaur under the Puri Connects banner and co-produced by JB Narayana Rao Kondrolla of JB Motion Pictures.
