The first look posters of Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming release Mellisai have received good response from the film buffs on social media. His fans love the new suave urban look of Vijay Sethupathi than his usual rustic and unkempt looks in his earlier films. Mellisai is directed by Ranjith Jeyakodi and produced by Rebel Studio Productions. It features Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kanom fame Gayathrie playing the ladylove of Vijay Sethupathi.
Vijay Sethupathi plays a music director and Gayathrie plays a violin teacher in the film. Now, we understand the reasoning behind the title. “We have named it so because melody is something you want to listen to repeatedly,” says the director. The film is on the verge of completion and we can expect yet another Vijay Sethupathi film soon, his third film in the first half of 2014 after an underwhelming Rummy and a heartwarming Pannaiyaarum Padminiyum.
