Vijay Sethupathi did not take a single penny for Maaveeran: Madonne Ashwin

Vijay Sethupathi is getting a lot of appreciation for his wonderful gesture to give the voiceover for Sivakarthikeyan starrer Maaveeran, in which he is heard as the ‘mind voice’ of Sivakarthikeyan’s character. The interesting fact here is that Vijay Sethupathi did not even take a single rupee for his work in the film.

In a recent interview, director Madonne Ashwin said that Vijay Sethupathi told him this “I am proud that myself and Sivakarthikeyan are doing this for the first time in the industry. I won’t take any money for this. I am happy that I’m doing this for Sivakarthikeyan”. It’s a wonderful gesture from the actor to bridge the gaps in the industry!
