After years of delay, Venkat Prabhu’s star-studded entertainer Party is finally set for release in February 2026, promising a vibrant, fun-filled cinematic experience for audiences.

After years of anticipation, director Venkat Prabhu’s long-pending multi-starrer Party is finally on track for release. The film, which has been caught in limbo for several years due to financial hurdles, is now reportedly set to hit theatres in February 2026, marking a long-awaited milestone for the filmmaker and his team.
Following Venkat Prabhu’s recent birthday celebration, it is being reported that the film’s producer, Siva of Amma Creations, has confirmed plans to bring the project to cinemas early next year. This long-delayed ensemble entertainer is expected to finally see the light of day, rekindling the excitement it once created among fans.
Party boasts an impressive cast featuring Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Nivetha Pethuraj, Regina Cassandra, Jai, Shiva, Jayaram, Chandran, Sanchita Shetty, Naaser, Shyam and the late Mano Bala, among several others. Originally slated for a 2018 release, the film faced prolonged delays despite completing production years ago.
Billed as Venkat Prabhu’s Hangover, the film promises to deliver the director’s signature brand of humour and camaraderie, packed with youthful energy and a vibrant party atmosphere. True to Venkat Prabhu’s filmmaking style, Party is expected to blend comedy, music, and chaos in a tropical setup that caters perfectly to the youth audience.
Venkat Prabhu, who last delivered the blockbuster The GOAT starring Thalapathy Vijay in 2024, is currently awaiting the start of his next project with Sivakarthikeyan once the actor wraps up his ongoing commitments. With Party finally gearing up for release, it looks like 2026 will begin on a festive note for fans of the filmmaker’s brand of fun-filled cinema.
