According to the latest reports, it looks like Venkat Prabhu has initiated talks with STR for the sequel of their blockbuster Maanaadu, which ruled the roost at the box office for its unique screenplay and plot points. Though this project is likely to take off after a year or more, the nascent stage talks are on.
STR is currently starting work on his film with Vetrimaaran, after which he will move on to his film with Ashwath Marimuthu in September. The actor has put his film with Parking director Ramkumar on hold, and is also in talks with many other filmmakers for his next.
