Vairamuthu on competition with Madhan Karky and Kabilan while working on Jeeva

All songs of Suseenthiran’s Jeeva has lyrics by Vairamuthu and his sons Madhan Karky and Kabilan. This is the first time the triumvirate has penned lyrics together for an entire album. “To be honest, Suseenthiran, the director of the film, never disclosed to us that all three of us would be writing the songs for his film Jeeva. Although it appears like we have competed with each other, a contest never prevailed because neither of us knew that the others too were penning songs for the film,” says Vairamuthu about working on the film.

Jeeva has music by Imman. Starring Vishnu and Sri Divya in lead roles, the film is released by Arya’s The Show People and Vishal’s Vishal Film Factory on September 26th.
