Vada Chennai to start in January; a 200-day schedule planned

After endless postponements, we have reliable information that Dhanush’s Vada Chennai will go on floors from January 2016. “Dhanush has set aside a bulk 200-day call sheet for the film which will be shot over a period of seven months. The film traces the story of Dhanush’s character over a span of 30 years. The project, which is expected to go on floors in January, will be jointly produced by Dhanush under Wunderbar Films,”  said a source close to the team.

Dhanush will team up with director Durai Senthilkumar next for a quick project after completing his current assignment with Prabhu Solomon. He is playing a dual role for the first time in his career in Durai’s yet-to-be-titled project, which revolves around the story of two brothers. There have been rumors that Vidya Balan has been roped in to play a negative role in the film. “Vidya Balan’s dates are not available immediately and hence the team is on the lookout for other options,” added the source.
