Trailer for Vadam starring Vimal released ahead of March 6 release

The makers of Vadam, an upcoming rural action drama starring Vimal, have officially released the film’s trailer, building anticipation ahead of its March 6, 2026 theatrical debut.

Directed and written by Kenthiran V, the trailer sets the tone for a gripping narrative rooted in traditional rural sport and high-stakes conflict.

The footage teases intense sequences featuring Vimal’s character as a proud bull owner whose majestic animal participates in the traditional bull-taming competition known as Manju Virattu (Jallikattu). As the story unfolds, the trailer introduces an intriguing subplot involving an elder seeking assassins, hinting at themes of honour, loyalty and challenge within a turbulent rural setting.

Alongside Vimal, the ensemble cast includes Natty, Sanashka Sri, Munishkanth, Bala Saravanan, Aadukalam Naren, Madhusudhan Rao, Deepa Shankar and Indumathy Manikandan, among others.

Produced by Rajasekar R under the Masani Pictures banner, the film’s technical lineup boasts music by D Imman, cinematography by Prasanna S Kumar, editing by Sabu Joseph VJ and art direction by V. Sasikumar. Stunt choreography is handled by G.N. Murugan, with additional dance direction credited to Dinesh, Dheena and Santhosh.
