TN govt announces memorial for Sivaji Ganesan

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha has announced a memorial for late Sivaji Ganesan in a land alloted to South Indian Film Artistes Association (SIFAA) in Adyar. “I am overwhelmed and and my entire family too, we are very very happy, we are grateful to our honourable Chief Minister Puratchi Thalaivi Amma for the decision to construct the memorial,” Prabhu told to the news agency PTI.

Vikram Prabhu, grandson of Sivaji Ganesan, said, “On behalf of my Family & the wonderful Fans of my Grandfather, I thank our Tamil Nadu Chief Minister for the #ManiMandapam. #TamilanSivaji.”

Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vishal and Nassar thanked the government on behalf of all the actors. “Great news.sincerely thank our honourable CM of TN AMMA for announcing to build memorial for chevalier Sivaji Ganesan avl in Adyar.God bless,” wrote Vishal on his official Twitter page.
