Popular Tamil YouTubers Gopi and Sudhakar have finally unveiled the title and first look of their much-awaited debut film, which has been in the works for quite some time. Titled Oh God Beautiful, the film is written and directed by Vishnu Vijayan and promises a quirky, emotional comedy entertainer.
The first look, launched on Monday, features the duo in Charlie Chaplin-inspired costumes, hinting at a vintage comedy vibe. Sudhakar is seen gagged and holding a weighing scale with the three wise monkeys statues, while Gopi holds a book titled How to Say a Lie, all pointing to a satirical narrative.
The film wrapped up shooting in September 2023 and is described as a heartfelt blend of love, friendship, truth, and emotion. Speaking earlier, Sudhakar revealed that a subtle connection to Charlie Chaplin exists in the story, which also emphasizes family values. He praised director Vishnu for his clarity and vision.
The ensemble cast includes Vinsu Sam, VTV Ganesh, Ramesh Khanna, Suresh Chakravarthy, Viji Chandrasekhar, and many others.
Notably, Gopi and Sudhakar’s earlier project Hey Money Come Today Go Tomorrow Ya, a crowdfunded venture, was shelved due to the pandemic. Oh God Beautiful now marks their official big-screen debut, and an announcement regarding the release date is expected soon.
