Thunivu targets Republic Day release in 2023

According to the latest reports, Ajith’s Thunivu which is now in its final stage of shoot, is getting ready for a Republic Day release in cinemas in January 2023. The film was initially targeting a Pongal release as well, but popular distributor Tirupur Subramaniam has clarified that Thunivu will not clash with Varisu – it will release a couple of weeks earlier or later.

The final release date for Thunivu will be announced once the entire shoot for the film is completed. As of now, the team is getting done with their schedule in Bangkok. Thunivu is directed by H. Vinoth and has its music composed by Ghibran.
