Thunivu and Varisu to release with a day’s gap? 

According to the latest reports in the industry, we hear that both Thunivu and Varisu will be releasing a day apart. The Ajith Kumar starrer will the first of the two, and is planning to hit the screens on the 11th of January – one day ahead of Varisu which will release on the 12th of January.

Reports suggest that the makers of Thunivu feel that the one day advantage will get the film a headstart, and also split up the attention and confusion between fans for a direct clash. The official announcement on both the release dates are awaited.
