Three arrested by the police from the sets of Thala 55

Thala 55 shooting is progressing at a brisk pace on the lanes of ECR. The team has been camping in VIP lake view colony near Palavakkam for the past few days. Since most of the scenes have been shot during the nighttime, the team has mounted a makeshift setup for the film with bright lamps on the road. It has apparently appalled the public residing near by and they lodged a complaint with the Neelankarai police station.

The police later found that the team is shooting without any permission from the department and arrested production assistant Prem, light boy Ramesh and one more assistant who was on the sets. Further news on the arrest is likely to be made public today. Directed by Gautham Menon, Thala 55 has Ajith and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles.
