Theri is the best ever in this territory

In the Tirunelveli – Kanyakumari territory down South of Tamil Nadu, the Ilayathalapathy Vijay-starrer Theri is said to have grossed close to 5 crores, which is an all time record in Tamil cinema. In Tirunelveli city, from three main release centers, Theri has grossed 1.44 crores, led by the famous Ram Cinemas.

At Ram Cinemas, Thuppakki is still the highest ever grosser at 65 lakhs, but it released with just two prints in Tirunelveli city. With three prints in the city, Theri has managed to near Thuppakki’s gross, which is phenomenal.
