“There’s a universal truth about life in Uttama Villain,” says director

Ramesh Aravind, director of Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film Uttama Villain, reveals that there’s a universal truth about life in the film. “On one hand, there’s a 21st century tale of a reigning superstar and on the other hand there’s an 8th century tale of a folk artist. Reel world is the real problem. Real world has greed and other negative aspects but the folk world is pure and idealistic. What connects these two worlds is the point that meets the brilliance of Kamal Haasan’s screenplay,” says Ramesh Aravind to a magazine.

Produced by Thirupathi Brothers, Uttama Villain is all set for release on May 1st worldwide. It has music composed by Ghibran.
