Thala 61: Sun Pictures signs Ajith for the first time?

Bankable sources in K’town confirm that Thala 61, Ajith’s next project, will be bankrolled by Sun Pictures, marking their first collaboration with the actor. While Sun Pictures has collaborated with Rajinikanth, Vijay, and Sivakarthikeyan, this is the first time they are joining forces with Ajith.

Initial discussions about the project have already begun and Ajith will soon hear narrations from filmmakers he usually trusts. Siva is said to be one of the front-runners for the film although other names have also started surfacing.

Currently, Ajith is busy shooting for Valimai in Gokulam Film Studios on the outskirts of Chennai with director Vinoth.
