Superstar Rajinikanth recently watched the trailer of the upcoming fantasy action film Mirai, which features Teja Sajja and Manchu Manoj in lead roles. After viewing the trailer, which was released a few days ago, the actor expressed his appreciation and conveyed his best wishes to Manchu Manoj and the team, ahead of the film’s theatrical release.

Directed and shot by Karthik Ghattamaneni, Mirai promises to be a high-concept visual spectacle that merges mythological elements with superhero storytelling. The trailer opens with Teja Sajja’s character introduced through a stark, philosophical lens that sets up a classic hero’s journey. The conflict intensifies with the introduction of Black Sword, played by Manchu Manoj – a formidable antagonist in pursuit of nine divine scriptures that could make him invincible and endanger humanity.

The ensemble cast includes Shriya Saran, Ritika Nayak, Jagapathi Babu, and Jayaram. With music by Gowra Hari, editing by Sreekar Prasad, and production design by Nagendra Tangalla, Mirai is backed by People Media Factory. The film is set for a multilingual theatrical release on September 12th, in both 2D and 3D formats.
