Tamil Nadu CM Stalin hails Mari Selvaraj’s Bison Kaalamaadan as a cinematic gem, praising its inspiring storytelling, strong social message, and brilliant performances.

Director Mari Selvaraj’s latest film Bison Kaalamaadan continues to receive overwhelming appreciation from all quarters, with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin being the latest to shower praise on the filmmaker’s work.

In his heartfelt message, the Chief Minister lauded Bison Kaalamaadan as “another precious gem” in Mari Selvaraj’s cinematic crown. He praised the director for powerfully portraying the story of a young man from a rural background who, relying solely on his talent, overcomes struggles both inside and outside the Kabaddi court. Stalin commended Mari Selvaraj for crafting an inspiring cinematic experience filled with sharp social messages and emotional depth.

The Chief Minister further noted that each of Mari Selvaraj’s films delivers a thought-provoking message and leaves a lasting impact. He applauded the director for depicting youth, sports, and politics with remarkable maturity in Bison Kaalamaadan, calling the film a reflection of Mari’s evolving artistic brilliance. Stalin also extended his heartfelt appreciation to the film’s lead actors – Dhruv Vikram, Pasupathy, Anupama, Rajisha and the entire technical crew for bringing the story to life.

In response, an elated Mari Selvaraj expressed his gratitude on social media, thanking CM Stalin and Udhayanidhi Stalin for their continued encouragement and faith in his creative journey from Pariyerum Perumal to Karnan and now Bison Kaalamaadan.

Currently, Bison Kaalamaadan is running successfully in theaters, topping its second weekend among Diwali releases with strong Friday numbers and stellar Saturday performances, both in BMS bookings and walk-ins, a well-deserved triumph for the team’s extraordinary effort.
