Suriya turns singer again for Vishwanath and Sons second single; Ken Karunaas pens the lyrics

The second single from Vishwanath and Sons brings together Suriya's vocals, Ken Karunaas' lyrics, and GV Prakash's music.

The makers of Vishwanath and Sons have unveiled an exciting update about the film’s music. After the positive response to the first single, Pattampoochi, composer GV Prakash Kumar has announced that the film’s second single will feature Suriya as the playback singer.

The upcoming track is said to be an energetic dance number, with lyrics written by Ken Karunaas, marking an interesting collaboration between the actor and the young filmmaker-actor. While the makers are yet to reveal the song’s title or release date, the announcement has already created excitement among fans.

The first single, Pattampoochi, was released recently and quickly gained popularity for its catchy tune and vibrant choreography featuring Mamitha Baiju. Sung by Sublahshini and penned by Arunraja Kamaraj, the song has been trending on social media ever since its release.

Suriya is no stranger to playback singing. Over the years, the actor has lent his voice to several memorable tracks, including Ek Do Teen from Anjaan, Cha Cha Charey from Party, Maara Theme from Soorarai Pottru, and more recently, Love Detox from Retro. The latest song in Vishwanath & Sons adds another exciting number to his growing list of songs as a singer.

Directed by Venky Atluri, Vishwanath and Sons stars Suriya in the lead alongside Mamitha Baiju, Radhika Sarathkumar, and Raveena Tandon. The family drama features music by GV Prakash and is one of the most anticipated releases of the year which is slated to hit the screens on August 14.

With the first single already becoming a fan favourite and Suriya now stepping behind the microphone for the second track, expectations for the film’s music album continue to rise. Fans are now eagerly awaiting the official announcement of the song’s title and release date.
