Sun Pictures to release Kaththi?

Produced by Ayngaran Films and Lyca Entertainment, it was earlier reported that Eros International will release the film as per the information on the official website of Eros. The release calendar on their website apparently mentioned Kaththi as the Deepavali release on October 23rd. Now, sources say that Sun Pictures has bought the distribution rights for the film and may release the film worldwide under their banner.

Sun Pictures is known for recurring, ingenuous and innovative promotions via sun network channels all over. We had witnessed the release of Ayan starring Surya and Tamannah directed by KV Anand in African countries, thanks to the over-the-top promotions by Sun Pictures. An official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.
