STR’s Seven-minute scene in Maanaadu gets me teary-eyed every time: Venkat Prabhu

The Maanaadu pre-release event which took place yesterday has set up a lot of good buzz towards the film, and the team is now looking forward to the release on the 25th. At the event, director Venkat Prabhu spoke highly about STR and SJ Suryah’s professionalism towards the film, saying that both the actors share the most screen time and have a lot of combination scenes.

Venkat Prabhu also said that there is a special 7-minute emotional sequence in the film, which makes him tear up every time he watches it. The director said that he planned the scene in a completely different way, but with STR’s performance, the output has been escalated to a bigger level.
