STR50: Desingh Periyasamy says film was about to be dropped, until Yuvan intervened!
In the recent press meet of Sweetheart which took place last weekend, director Desingh Periyasamy said that it was Yuvan Shankar Raja who pushed Desingh to go ahead with STR50 and also asked him on when we can start the work for the film, right when the film was about to be shelved. It was an interesting situation for Desingh, who found more motivation to do the project then, and worked on it.
STR is likely to take off in the second half of the year, after STR completes his shoot for both the Parking director Ramkumar film and STR51, which is going to be directed by Dragon director Ashwath Marimuthu. The race ahead is looking solid for the star, who will be collaborating with Desingh on one of Tamil cinema’s most exciting projects.
