Sri Thenandal Films snaps up Saahasam

Sri Thenandal Films has snapped up the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights for Prashanth’s Saahasam. The film is all set for release on February 5th alongside Vetrimaaran’s Visaaranai, which is being released by Lyca Productions.

Billed as an official remake of the Telugu hit Julayi, Saahasam features Prashanth and Amanda in the lead roles. Directed by Arunraj Varma, the writing-production credits belong to Thiagarajan. Thenandal’s immediate upcoming releases include Kathakali, Aranmanai 2 and Aaraathu Sinam.
