Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming rural drama Seyon is set to resume shooting with its second schedule in Madurai. The film, directed by Thaai Kizhavi filmmaker Sivakumar Murugesan, completed its first schedule last month and is now moving into the next phase of production.
Sivakarthikeyan is expected to join the team in Madurai, where the upcoming schedule will focus on several important portions of the film. While the makers have kept the storyline under wraps, the project is said to feature multiple action blocks involving the lead actor.
Stunt duo Anbarivu has been brought on board to choreograph the action sequences. Their involvement adds to the anticipation surrounding the film, especially as the rural drama is expected to feature several physically demanding portions for Sivakarthikeyan.
Bhagyashri Borse plays the female lead in Seyon. The film marks her second Tamil project after Kaantha. Bala Saravanan and Aruldoss are also part of the cast, while Kannada actor Raj B Shetty has joined the project in a pivotal role. The makers are yet to reveal details about the remaining cast and the central plot.
The team had earlier released a glimpse that offered a brief look at Sivakarthikeyan’s character. Interestingly, the video portrayed his character with a divine or god-like image, adding another layer of curiosity around the rural drama.
On the technical front, Seyon has music by Santhosh Narayanan, with Vivek Vijayakumar handling the cinematography. San Lokesh is the editor, while RK Nagu serves as the art director. The technical team is expected to play a key role in establishing the film’s rural setting and visual atmosphere.
Seyon is produced by Kamal Haasan and Mahendran under Raaj Kamal Films International. The project marks Sivakarthikeyan’s second collaboration with the production house after Amaran. It also reunites the actor with Sivakumar Murugesan following their successful association on Thaai Kizhavi, which Sivakarthikeyan produced.
