Sivakarthikeyan’s Maaveeran targets a June 2023 release in theatres
The team of Sivakarthikeyan starrer Maaveeran came together for a Pongal celebration on Saturday night, where major members of the cast and crew joined hands and celebrated the festival’s arrival. And now, sources from the camp say that the film is nearing completion in terms of its shoot, and will be wrapped up in February.
The makers of Maaveeran initially planned to bring the film to theatres in April but due to the onset of biggies such as Maamannan, Ponniyin Selvan 2 and Jailer, it is likely that they will move ahead to June for a free standing release. The film directed by Madonne Ashwin is produced by Shanthi Talkies.
