The shooting of Parasakthi, the collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan and acclaimed director Sudha Kongara, has officially wrapped. The film, a gripping socio-political drama, is now in post-production and is slated for a wide theatrical release during Pongal 2026.
Parasakthi features Sivakarthikeyan in a never seen before intense avatar, in a role that explores themes of justice, identity, and social revolution. The film is also supported by a dynamic ensemble cast including Ravi Mohan (as antagonist), Atharvaa, Sree Leela and many others. Produced by Aakash Baskaran under the Dawn Pictures banner, Parasakthi is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious Tamil films in recent times. The film’s music is composed by GV Prakash, reuniting with Sudha Kongara after the critically acclaimed Soorarai Pottru. Cinematography is by Ravi K Chandran and the screenplay is jointly penned by Sudha Kongara, Arjun Nadesan and Ganeshaa.
