Viral theatre trailer and circulating photo fuel intense fan theories linking Sivakarthikeyan to Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Rajinikanth starrer Coolie. Here’s what we hear.
A theatre video of the Hindi trailer of Lokesh Kanagaraj – Superstar Rajinikanth’s Coolie has gone viral, igniting a wave of speculation. The trailer, shown in cinemas, featured extra shots not seen in the YouTube version, with many fans convinced the brief glimpse was of Sivakarthikeyan in a cameo role.
Adding fuel to the fire, a photo of Sivakarthikeyan at composer Anirudh’s home, where Lokesh Kanagaraj and Anirudh posed with a Rajinikanth painting in the background began trending online. Many took it as proof of SK’s involvement in Coolie.
However, what we hear is that Sivakarthikeyan is not part of Coolie. The viral picture was taken casually and has no link to the film’s production.
With background score and sound mixing completed, the film’s final content is expected to reach overseas distributors by tomorrow. Advance bookings are already witnessing a thunderous response, and Coolie is set for a global theatrical storm this Thursday, August 14th in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan is gearing up for the release of Madharaasi on September 5th, directed by AR Murugadoss. Promotions for this action-packed film have kicked off, with TV promos beginning to air following the telecast of Coolie Unleashed yesterday. Additionally, theatrical hoardings and banners have started appearing across Tamil Nadu.
