Silambarasan TR gets doctorate from Vels University

After the blockbuster success of Maanaadu, another good thing that has come Silambarasan TR’s way is that he has received a doctorate in cinematic excellence from the Vels University in Chennai.

Silambarasan was present at the function with his  parents, and received his doctorate from Isari K Ganesh of Vels Film International. The actor is now shooting for his Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu, and will be moving on to the pending portions of Pathu Thala once he gets done with this.
