Shriya Saran and Rajinikanth reunion sparks Dharman cameo buzz

A recent selfie shared by Shriya Saran with Superstar Rajinikanth has sparked speculation about a possible reunion between the two actors in Dharman. The picture has caught attention because Rajinikanth is seen sporting his look from the upcoming Ashwath Marimuthu directorial.

Shriya shared the photograph on her Instagram Stories with the caption “Happy Day”, giving fans an unexpected glimpse of her meeting with Rajinikanth. She later shared another picture with the Superstar, further fueling curiosity about whether their meeting could be connected to Dharman.

The speculation becomes more interesting given that Shriya and Rajinikanth previously shared the screen in Sivaji: The Boss, directed by Shankar. Released in 2007, the film featured the two actors as the lead pair and went on to become a major commercial success. Their latest reunion, therefore, comes nearly 19 years after their memorable collaboration.

Shriya has reportedly been linked with a possible cameo in Dharman. However, neither the actress nor the makers have officially confirmed her involvement in the film. The selfie has therefore added fuel to existing industry buzz rather than confirming her casting.

Meanwhile, Dharman has entered its third shooting schedule in Hyderabad. Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, the film stars Rajinikanth in the lead and also features Simran and Raashii Khanna. The project is backed by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International, with Anirudh Ravichander composing the music.

Rajinikanth is currently shooting for Dharman, while he is also gearing up for the release of Jailer 2 on October 15th. If Shriya Saran’s reported association with Dharman eventually becomes official, it would make their reunion one of the film’s interesting talking points.
