Filming has officially begun for Dhanush’s upcoming project, tentatively titled D54, and anticipation is already building thanks to its gripping tagline: “Sometimes staying dangerous is the only way to stay alive.” Though the official title is yet to be revealed, the tagline suggests a gritty and intense narrative.
The film features Mamitha Baiju in a significant role alongside Dhanush, marking an exciting addition to the cast. The story is penned by Vignesh Raja and Alfred Prakash, with Vignesh Raja known for the critically acclaimed Por Thozhil is directing the film.
The supporting cast includes seasoned actors such as KS Ravikumar, Jayaram, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Karunas. The visuals will be brought to life by celebrated cinematographer Theni Eswar, while GV Prakash Kumar is on board to compose the music.
D54 is bankrolled by Ishari Ganesh’s Vels Film International along with Think Studios.
