Savitri biopic ‘Nadigaiyar Thilagam’ starts rolling
Savitri biopic Nadigaiyar Thilagam started rolling in Ramakrishnan Studios, Hyderabad yesterday. Dulquer Salmaan has been signed on to play the character of Gemini Ganesan in the movie, which features Keerthy Suresh in the role of legendary actress Savitri.
The team began the principal shooting yesterday. Also starring Samantha as a journalist, the movie is being directed by Nag Ashwin as a Tamil and Telugu bilingual. The story will be narrated from Samantha’s perspective in the film.
