Samantha plays a college student in Vijay 59

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is pairing up with Vijay for the second time after Kaththi in Vijay 59, will reportedly play the role of a college student. “She has a naughty role. Her character will stay in the hostel located in the college premises,” says a source. The team is currently finalizing two characters to cast as Samantha’s parents.

Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu and directed by Atlee, the film will go on floors from July first week. Sources say Atlee is planning to begin with a song shoot in Chennai. GV Prakash composes music.
