RJ Balaji spills the beans on Mookuthi Amman

Actor-director RJ Balaji has spilled the beans on Mookuthi Amman, in a latest interview with a Tamil weekly. He also confirmed that the film will be a theatrical release, shutting rumors on OTT release to rest.

Talking about the film’s story, “The story takes place in Nagercoil where my character struggles to bring up the family of 2 elders and 3 sisters. What happens when Amman visits their family, forms the crux of the movie.”

Balaji also appreciated Nayanthara’s dedication and professionalism for the film, where she plays the titular role.
