RJ Balaji dismisses Karuppu April 10 release rumors; big update expected soon

Speculation had been circulating on social media suggesting that Karuppu, the upcoming film starring Suriya, would release in theatres on April 10th. However, the film’s director RJ Balaji has now addressed the rumors and clarified the situation.

Taking to social media, RJ Balaji stated that the team will soon share an official update about the film’s release plans. He assured fans that the makers are preparing to announce key details shortly, including the release date.

In his post, the filmmaker said that the team would come up with a major update on Karuppu within the next 7–10 days, putting an end to ongoing speculation surrounding the film. RJ Balaji also clarified that the film will not be releasing on April 10, dismissing the date that had been widely circulated online. He further responded to several rumours claiming that there were disagreements between members of the film’s crew.

Addressing these claims, the director noted that he had come across posts and memes suggesting issues between the director and producer, as well as between the music director and the producer. He firmly denied these reports and indicated that such speculation was unfounded.

Acknowledging the anticipation among fans, RJ Balaji added that he understands the disappointment caused by the delay in updates. At the same time, he reassured audiences that the wait would be worthwhile once the official announcement is made.
