Remo Nee Kadhalan
Vaadi En Tamilselvi
Bubbly and breezy!
Summary : Remo might not have an outstanding track, but it is an album which floats Anirudh’s name all over it. What this album possesses is a huge amount of energy and color, and that may just be enough to get it over the line. With Sivakarthikeyan onscreen, expect the crackers to fly higher.
Cast: Sivakarthikeyan, Keerthy Suresh
Lyrics: Vignesh Shivn, Vivek, KU Karthick
Direction: Bakkiyaraj Kannan
Label: Sony Music
Remo Nee Kadhalan: Singer – Anirudh Ravichander
Beatbox at the start moving on to a catchy ‘Iva Ava Dhan, Ava Iva Dhan’ loop and then onto a song which flies at a great pace. Anirudh’s portion is the highlight yes, but this track would have gone places if it had better lyrics and sound mixing.
Senjitaley: Singer – Anirudh Ravichander
A free-flowing sing-along track that has lovely transitions all the way. Anirudh does a good job on the mic, as this song nicely fits into his comfort zone and scores. Our PICK!
Sirikkadhey: Singers – Arjun Kanungo and SrinidhiVenkatesh
Arjun Kanungo’s vocals in his Tamil debut may have dimmed the lights here, but that doesn’t stop the song from becoming a listenable melody. The instrumental bits take over the vocals here.
Meesa Beauty: Singers – Richard, Anirudh
An ordinary track which has Anirudh’s typical mischief peppered over. Nothing great about it.
Daavuya: Singer – Santosh Narayanan
It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Anirudh has totally revolutionized the genre of ‘kuthu’ music with his intervention into the scene. Daavuya is yet another feather on his cap, a song capable of climbing the charts. Give it to Santosh Narayanan for the unique vocals, and Anirudh for the jolly tune. Our PICK.
Vaadi En Tamilselvi: Singer – Nakash Aziz
Anirudh makes yet another interesting choice to render this fun-filled track. Nakash Aziz makes him comfortable with the lyrics, and jets out a jovial number. Watch out for the scratch-to-shine instrumentals at the backdrop. Another PICK!
Come Closer: Singer – Inno Genga
An English cover of the third album of the album, sung by InnoGenga. The guitars come into command here and hand over a similar feel to the original.
