Regret glorifying cops in my films: Director Hari on Jeyaraj and Fenix’s custodial deaths

Director Hari, who has made successful films on police officers by glorifying them in Tamil cinema such as Saami, and the popular Singam series, is the latest to condemn the custodial deaths of Jeyaraj and Fenix (Bennicks) in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu.

Hari said he regrets to have glorified police officers in his five films centred around them as lead characters. The custodial deaths have sparked a massive outrage across the state.
