Actor Ravi Mohan has officially launched his production banner, Ravi Mohan Studios, marking a bold new phase in his cinematic journey. The studio’s maiden venture, Bro Code, directed by Karthik Yogi, was introduced at a grand event in Chennai, with an ensemble cast including Ravi Mohan, SJ Suryah, and Arjun Ashokan, who is making his Tamil debut. The female leads include Shraddha Srinath, Sri Gouri Priya, and Malavika Manoj. An official pooja ceremony also marked the film’s commencement.
Karthik Yogi, known for Dikkiloona and Vadakkupatti Ramasamy, expressed gratitude for the trust shown by the cast and Ravi Mohan. SJ Suryah praised the film’s emotional and comedic balance, calling it an engaging entertainer. Arjun Ashokan called the project a major career milestone, while Shraddha Srinath and Sri Gouri Priya shared their excitement about working on the film.
The technical crew features Harshavardhan Rameshwar (music), Kalaiselvan Sivaji (cinematography), and Pradeep E Ragav (editing), among others.
Adding to the excitement, Ravi Mohan announced his directorial debut with the studio’s second production, An Ordinary Man, starring Yogi Babu. The actor revealed that this collaboration stems from a promise made years ago during Comali. While further details are awaited, the project marks Ravi’s foray into direction.
Another exciting announcement from the event was the reveal of Khakhi Squad, which Ravi Mohan will present under his banner. The film is directed by Sakthivel Perumalsamy (Urumeen, Alangu) and stars Kanna Ravi, fresh off his impactful role in Rajinikanth’s Coolie.
Kanna Ravi expressed deep gratitude for being included, saying, “Working alongside actors I’ve long admired feels surreal.” Director Sakthivel recalled how Ravi instantly connected with the script and agreed to support the project. He also confirmed his involvement in An Ordinary Man and Bro Code as part of the creative team.
With multiple ventures across genres, Ravi Mohan Studios is poised to bring fresh and meaningful cinema to audiences.
