In a recent interview, the actress said that her role in Thalapathy 66 is something that is fierce and headstrong and is always protective of her family. Rashmika also added that Thalapathy66 is a film for families, something that she wanted to do for a long time.

The actress also shared that she has a been a fan of Vijay sir right from the beginning, and she recently discussed with her friends on how they loved all of his performances even during their childhood. Thalapathy 66 is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and is set for a Pongal 2023 release.
