Sonakshi confirms her role in Rajinikanth’s next

The grapevine in Kollywood is abuzz that director K.S. Ravikumar will helm the upcoming project of superstar Rajinikanth. As there is no official confirmation from the team yet, reliable sources have already confirmed that the project is all set to roll out. It will be bankrolled by Rockline Venkatesh for his Rockline Productions. Anushka Shetty is expected to sign the dotted lines to play one of the lead roles in the film. Speculation is rife that ‘Naan Ee’ Sudeep will play the antagonist in the film.

Now, Sonakshi Sinha confirms her role opposite Rajinikanth as the other female lead. “I am finally making my debut in the South. I could not have asked for a better project to start with. It’s a wonderful story and it’s opposite the one and only Rajini sir. I am looking forward to expanding my horizons with this project,” says the glorious Bollywood beauty. It is worth mentioning that Sonakshi’s father veteran actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha is a long-time friend of our superstar.
