After delivering two major blockbusters Dragon and Dude as an actor this year, director turned actor Pradeep Ranganathan is all set to return to the director’s chair for his next film. Pradeep, who made a sensational mark as a filmmaker with Comali and Love Today, has become one of Kollywood’s hottest names, and buzz around his upcoming directorial venture has already stirred strong interest in trade circles.
This yet to be announced project is said to be backed by AGS Entertainment, a banner that has had a successful association with the star. AGS produced Love Today and Dragon, and also distributed Dude across Tamil Nadu during this year’s Diwali. Their reunion for this new film has added a fresh wave of excitement within the industry.
Meanwhile, Pradeep Ranganathan is gearing up for his third release of the year, Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), hitting screens on December 18th. The film is directed by Vignesh Shivan and jointly produced by 7 Screen Studios and Rowdy Pictures, with music by Anirudh Ravichander. Featuring Krithi Shetty, SJ Suryah, Anandaraj, Seeman, Yogi Babu, Shah Rah in key roles, the movie has already generated soaring expectations among audiences and trade watchers alike.
Pradeep’s rapid rise with back-to-back hits and multiple releases continues to position him as one of the most dynamic and bankable names in Tamil cinema today.
