Prabhu Solomon returns with Kumki 2; an emotional adventure on cards!
Kumki 2 brings back Prabhu Solomon’s emotional storytelling, blending wildlife, village life, and the tender bond between humans and elephants.

The first look of Kumki 2 has been unveiled, marking director Prabhu Solomon’s return to the world he first introduced in the 2012 hit Kumki. Much like its predecessor, the sequel delves into the deep emotional bond between humans and elephants, set against the scenic backdrop of forest-fringed rural life.
The teaser poster features a heartwarming image of children interacting with an elephant, hinting at the film’s emotional depth and strong connection to nature. Arjun Das will be seen in an extended cameo, appearing alongside the group of children and adding a poignant layer to the narrative. Mathi and Shrita Rao is said to be playing the leads, bringing a fresh presence to the sequel.
Kumki 2 also boasts a strong technical crew. Music is composed by Nivas K Prasanna, with lyrics penned by Mohan Rajan and director Prabhu Solomon. Cinematography is handled by M Sukumar, while Buvan takes care of editing. Stun Shiva choreographs the stunts, and the film’s visual aesthetics are shaped by art director Vijay Thennarasu.
Produced by Dhaval Gada and presented by Jayantilal Gada under the banner of Pen Studios, Kumki 2 is already generating buzz. While the release date is yet to be announced, the first look promises an emotional and visually rich continuation of the beloved Kumki legacy.
