The awaited comeback is finally happening. Prabhu Deva and Vadivelu, the duo that defined on-screen chemistry and comic timing in the 90s are reuniting after years for a new film that promises both nostalgia and novelty.
This project is helmed by Sam Rodrigues, who earlier directed Musasi with Prabhu Deva. Backed by producer Kannan Ravi, the film brings together an impressive technical crew: music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Vignesh Vasu, editing by Anthony, and stunts by Peter Hein.
In a first look that has fans buzzing, the makers unveiled an announcement poster featuring both stars in cowboy outfits were their faces kept under wraps and with the iconic tagline “Why Blood Same Blood”. The line, originally from their 2001 hit Manadhai Thirudivittai, serves as a nostalgic nod for longtime fans.
This yet to be titled project will be hitting screens in 2026.
