Prabhu Deva and Vadivelu reunion movie titled Bang Bang

Prabhu Deva and Vadivelu come together again with Bang Bang, marking their first on screen reunion in years with a film that promises a new genre twist.

The iconic Prabhu Deva – Vadivelu combination is set to return to the big screen with a new film titled Bang Bang. The project marks their reunion after more than two decades and has already generated strong buzz among Tamil cinema fans.

The title was officially announced on January 30, along with a brief promo that hints at an unusual setting. The visuals suggest a mix of action and comedy, with a possible zombie-themed backdrop, offering a fresh twist to the duo’s reunion.

Bang Bang is written and directed by Sam Rodrigues and produced by KRG Kannan Ravi, with Deepak Ravi serving as co-producer. The film features music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who reunites with both actors after their earlier collaboration in Manadhai Thirudivittai. The technical team includes cinematographer Venugopal, editor Anthony, and dialogue writer Vignesh Jeyapal. Actor Babloo Prithveeraj plays a key role in the film.

Prabhu Deva and Vadivelu have previously shared screen space in several popular films, including Kadhalan, Kaathala Kaathala, Love Birds, and Raasaiyya. Their chemistry remains one of the most memorable in Tamil cinema. Production for Bang Bang began with a pooja ceremony held in Dubai in August last year. The film is expected to release in 2026, with further details awaited.
