Pooja Hegde and Nora Fatehi join Raghava Lawrence’s Kanchana 4
Raghava Lawrence, Pooja Hegde, and Nora Fatehi headline Kanchana 4, reviving the beloved horror-comedy franchise with renewed scale and energy.

The excitement surrounding Kanchana 4, the next chapter in Raghava Lawrence’s celebrated horror-comedy franchise, is steadily building as casting updates begin to emerge. The latest reports confirm that popular actors Pooja Hegde and Nora Fatehi are officially part of the project. While both will be working with Lawrence for the first time, Kanchana 4 also marks Nora Fatehi’s Tamil cinema debut, adding a new dimension to the film’s pan-Indian appeal.
Production for Kanchana 4 reportedly commenced in September, with filming taking place under tight secrecy. During the launch, Lawrence shared in a heartfelt video that he plans to transform his first home into a school using the remuneration from this film, an announcement that drew wide appreciation from fans.
As with earlier installments, Raghava Lawrence takes the reins as writer, director, and lead actor, continuing his legacy with the franchise that began in 2007 with Muni. The sequel, Kanchana (2011), became a breakout success, earning critical acclaim and massive box office returns. Subsequent films, Kanchana 2 (2015) and Kanchana 3 (2019), featured leading ladies like Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Oviya, and Vedhika – and the fourth film appears to follow suit with a strong dual-female cast.
Backed by Kalanithi Maran’s Sun Pictures in association with Raghavendra Productions, Kanchana 4 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated horror entertainers of the year, promising the trademark blend of scares, humour, and emotional depth that defines the franchise.
