Ponniyin Selvan becomes the first Tamil film to release in IMAX format

It is indeed a moment to rejoice for fans of Tamil cinema, as we are on the way to have the first film to be officially released in the IMAX format – Ponniyin Selvan. Work for the large format version is underway, with the team planning to bring the film across different languages in this special version.

Ponniyin Selvan’s grand audio launch is set to place next month, on the 6th of September at the Nehru Stadium in Chennai. The chief guest for the event is likely to be chief minister MK Stalin, with further celebrities to be added.
