People see themselves in me: Pradeep’s powerful moment at Dude event in Hyderabad

At the Hyderabad pre-release event, team Dude promises an emotional, youth-driven entertainer with a unique twist and strong musical debut.

Hyderabad witnessed a spirited event as Dude’s pre‑release function offered glimpses of what audiences can expect and the excitement was palpable. Pradeep Ranganathan emphasized that while the trailer hints at entertainment, Dude carries “strong drama and emotions.” He shared that the final 20 seconds (in trailer) of romance anchor the film’s heart, and confidently predicted that Dude will resonate with youth while remaining an ideal family entertainer.

When asked about co‑star Mamitha Baiju’s absence, Pradeep explained she is currently shooting for Suriya’s upcoming film, so she couldn’t attend. On a lighter note, he addressed a question about not fitting the conventional “hero material” mold and how, despite that, he has amassed a sizable fan base in just two films. “It’s all due to hard work and God’s grace,” he remarked. “People see themselves in me. When they see themselves in me, I’m already a hero.” His statement prompted enthusiastic “Hero!” chants from the audience.

Producer Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers didn’t hold back praising the debuting music director Sai Abhyankkar’s dedication. He also expressed full faith in Dude’s success, noting: “I went to Chennai recently and saw Dude. It was extraordinary. This film will become a big hit and I am very confident about that.” He commended the performances of Pradeep, Mamitha, and Sarath Kumar, saying they consistently outshine each other onscreen. Ravi Shankar also mentioned that the film’s twist is fresh and unique and that the trailer was crafted to reflect the youthful energy of Dude. He added that there’s plenty of content in the film that audiences will wholeheartedly enjoy. In fact, he noted that in Tamilnadu and the Telugu states, the buzz for Dude has already been overwhelmingly positive.

With heartfelt promises of drama, romance, and a narrative twist that stands out, the pre‑release event managed to strike a balance between fanfare and genuine insight. Dude is set to release worldwide on October 17th in Tamil and Telugu, with a grand TN release via AGS Entertainment.
